Sisters in San Francisco

To Start: Jude above shows her journal of her Odyssey with cancer. She is pointing to the date highlighted in yellow when she was pain free on March 20th! Also note that Jude is growing her hair back after chemotherapy. I think it looks great, like a very short cut or I think it feels like petting a puppy.

Jude makes us a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, potato puffs, and of course for me her great coffee.

Sisters Trip To San Francisco July 16 to July 25th,

The next night we met Davey and his wife Red at Zuke! for dinner of delicious salmon and mashed potatoes for sisters. Note Jude was inspired to make the same dinner for us later. Davey is starting at UC Berkeley as Assistant Professor in Music and Red will be Professor in Computer Science. They will be living in Faculty Housing very close to Jude.

the tools being stolen and was socked in the face by a rather large gal we now call "Sumo Gal."

...And then after a full day of walks, the energizer Bunny Jude makes us a great dinner of mashed potatoes and salmon. Also note Jude and Pegs feet while cooking with my shoe in front. Finally Jude and Peg in the King sized bed where Peg and I are staying at the Hilton at the Berkeley Marina.(Note the cozy robes attire)

The next morning we take a walk out to I think it is called "Albany Bulb" with Jude's friend Sue and her dog "Radio. Peg and her shadow watches nearby. Interesting piece of artwork that looks to me like pieces of colored tile making the shape of a whale.

..And then on to afternoon tea with Melanie, Jude's best friend of many years and a Super Angel! who went with Jude to many of her doctor appointments. We also met briefly Melanie's friend-Fritz who owns this beautiful house. Also we met Melanie's parakeet-Azure-who after some coaxing perched on Peg's finger, also chatting with Melanie.

On to dinner with Jude's friends Jackie and Michael eating outside at another favored place I think Picante's? Note Jackie is another Angel who took Jude to appointments and brought her food. Also Jackie is a fellow Community Gardener.

Jude took us to nearby Berkeley Botantical Gardens, very beautiful magical place. Peg posing first then Jude and Peg posing.

And then the next day Jude takes us out to Point Reyes for a wonderful day of beach walking and lunch at Point Reyes Station.

The next day we head out on the Ferry to San Francisco for a day exploring the Piers. Jude below on the Watch at the helm: Note we were required to wear masks.

Later that afternoon we go to a wonderful street concert and note one of the performers below:

Then we take a walk in Jude's neighborhood. Peg and Jude are tasting some small fruits--not sure what they are from a tree in front of a house on our walk.
